When Kuya Avel asked me to take part in making the political TV ad of Mayor Jun Acharon, I never had any inkling that it would be a role in front of the camera. When I read the script, I discovered it was in bisaya. Now, I understand the language very well but when I speak bisaya, it has a tagalog accent, if you catch my drift. Meaning, it will sound bad.Continue reading

Matagal ko nang kilala si Jun Acharon
Magkasama kaming naglingkod sa P.R.E.X.
Pareho kaming deboto ng Poong Santo Niño
The word on the streets is that the incumbent Mayor Jun Acharon and Representative Darlene Antonino-Custodio will give their challengers a beating come May 10. Thanks to strong name recall and a sturdy party organization, both officials remain to be the number one choice of the common voter. Continue reading
Ang ngiti ni Kuya Avel kagabi from ear to ear
Para syang bride na walang groom na table hopping ever

The Air Supply of our wonder years captured the hearts of everyone during a two-hour, non-stop, heart-stopping wallop of a concert at the Gensan Gym in Lagao last night. It was indeed a night to remember. As Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock sang their songs, we all sang-along with them. Each of their song brought back so many good memories that I would bet my bottom-peso that there was not one dry-eyed spectator that night.Continue reading
This early, the battle lines are being drawn. Loyalty checks are being done. Like a sneaky weasel, Cain is already setting the stage for 2010. What will be put to test will be the adage: Blood is thicker than water. Continue reading
Continue reading
I’m a movie fan by heart. When GMA 7 introduced STARSTRUCK a few years back, my bet was on a unassuming guy named MARK HERRAS. I spent good money and text-voted for him. Continue reading
