Thank God It’s Friday!

I’m sure ngayon pa lang eh excited na kayo sa nga pwedeng gawin tuwing Biyernes ng gabi.  After a grueling week tama lang na mag-enjoy tayo kahit papano.  Here’s my top 5 ways to enjoy my Friday night.  Read on, faithful readers…

  1. Dine out. After a week of hard work, dapat lang na paminsan-minsan eh kumain ka naman sa labas.  Mas masaya kapag kasama mo ang mga friends mo.  Pero dapat earlier on, mag-agree na kanya-kanyang bayad kayo.   And since you’re paying for yourself, order what you’ve been craving about the whole week.  Gastusan mo naman ang sarili mo at huwag kang kuripot.  Huwag magmadali.  Dahan-dahan lang ang kain.  Kwentuhan to the max dapat.   A bottle of wine will be a nice treat for your group.  Magpakasosyal naman kayo from time to time.
  2. Bar Hop. Siempre dahil gusto mo talagang makapag-relax and just let your hair down – make sure nakauwi ka na at nakapag-change outfit to something more comfortable.  Take note na dapat hindi ka naman magmukhang call-boy or pokpok.  Chill lang ang attire but not to the point na mukhang kagigising  mo lang.  Control your alcohol intake.  Huwag yung parang hindi ka na aabutan ng bukas.  Mahaba ang gabi at nakakahiya naman na lasing ka na agad.  And one more thing, huwag na huwag paghaluin ang iniinom mo otherwise good luck sa hangover mo the next day.
  3. Watch a movie. Take note of the schedule of the last full show lalo na kapag manggagaling kayo ng dinner.  Choose a movie na hindi ka ma-stress habang nanonood ka.  Kung gusto mong sumigaw, then piliin mo ang horror movie.  Kung gusto mong kinikilig ka go for a love story.  Tip ko lang sa inyo:  If you have an internet connection, check out first the critic’s review of the movie na panonoorin nyo.  That way you can manage your expectations and just enjoy the movie.  The last time I was in a movie theatre, tulog talaga ako to the max — over boring man ang palabas, enjoy naman ako sa tulog ko kaya nagising akong relax na relax.
  4. Pamper yourself in a Spa. Ito ang nasa top of my list every week.  But make sure that you made reservations earlier kasi palaging puno ang mga spa lately.  Marami nang gustong mag-relax kaya punuan talaga.  A whole body spa is tops but pwede na rin ang foot spa and massage kasi nakakabawas stress din ito.  Be prepared when you go to a spa.  Kung maarte ka, then you can bring your own towel and undershorts.  For me kailangang may baon kasi hindi magkasya lahat – kaines!  Itapon mo rin ang hiya-hiya mo pag nasa spa ka.  Chances are may kasabay ka sa shower room, jacuzzi or steam room na nakahubad ever.  Carry mo lang and you’ll be okay.
  5. Stay home and magpaka-loner effect. Ang pinaka-okay sa mag-stay home ka on a Friday evening eh yung di ka na kailangang mag-ayos at di ka na kailangang gumastos para mag-enjoy.  You can just be yourself inside your room and wear what you like.  In fact, pwede ka ring maghubad kung gusto mo.  Now what can you do?  Manood ka lang sa cable tv ayos ka na.  Go channel surfing.  Kung may internet connection ka then mag-internet ka muna lalo na pag commercial break pa.  Movie marathon is another thing to do on a lazy Friday evening.  I suggest na may chichiria ka din and drinks para enjoy mo lang ang alone moments mo.

Marami pang pwedeng gawin.  Joy-ride.  Cafe-hopping.  Night swimming.  Kanya-kanyang trip lang basta enjoy ka lang.  Stay away from drugs.  If you drink, don’t drive.  Dapat may designated driver talaga beforehand.  Practice safe sex.  Be loyal to your partner and avoid igat-igat!  Have a great Friday night!
