Since the nomination ended last August 31, I have tried not to think about the 2010 Emerging and Influential Blog for 2010.  Well, I failed because I have been checking out the website for the results EVERYDAY.  I can put up a straight face and act as if I’m not affected at all.  But everyday has been so nerve-wracking that my stress level has see-sawed as fast as one can pronounced TIMBUKTU!  Because, honestly, I wanted to be in the list.

Ayokong magpaka-plastic, so here goes…GandaEverSoMuch is going to be a year old on August 1.  I’ve put in everything that I’ve got in this blog.  Blood, sweat, tears at kung anik-anik pa.  This blog not only liberated me, it totally tore my closet door down.  And it actually opened a whole new world for me.  Not that I hate it, on the contrary, I am so loving it.  Dumadami na din ang Faithful Readers ng GESM.  Marami nang nakiki-kokak sa akin.

Winning isn’t everything.  NOT!  It means the whole world to me.  So do allow me, faithful readers, to gloat about this.  I know.  I know.  If not for you, GandaEverSoMuch would have been just another emo blog site.  And for that, I am thankful.  Extremely thankful.   Blogging isn’t easy but when you get the hang of it, it feels like second-skin.   It’s not everyday that you’re up and about but for as long as you love what you do then you’re almost always good to go.  I have experienced my second wind in blogging.  I am glad that I have influenced some of my friends to blog too.  Am I inspiring you?  Then all I can say is – Go for it.  Be as ganda ever as you can be.
