A new pageant unfolds in this year’s Gensan’s Tuna Festival Experience. The Mr. Gensan pageant is introduced this year to complete and complement the Miss Gensan pageant. The aim of the Mr. Gensan pageant is simple, it hopes to showcase the talent and help develop the male youth of Gensan by building up self confidence.
The screening process for the Mr. Gensan pageant is by-invitation only. Screening was done wherein upon the recommendations of Gensan’s “beauty experts”, those who were shortlisted were evaluated by the 2010 Pageant Committee. Basic requirements include the following; must be 18 years old and above, at least 5’7” tall, single, a resident of Gensan for at least 2 years and must possess qualities that would epitomize a Mr. Gensan title holder. Only 10 finalists will comprise the lineup of contestants to the pageant. Here are the Official Candidates of Mr. Gensan 2010:
