The Miss Gensan 2010 pageant is on its 8^th edition this year and like the past editions, a different concept for staging each year is employed to maintain its image as the best pageant in the region. This year, the pageant is held in tandem with the latest male pageant of Gensan, the Mr. Gensan 2010.

A new screening process has been adopted this year for the Miss Gensan pageant. A by-invitation only screening was used wherein upon the recommendations of Gensan’s “beauty experts”, Gensan’s prettiest were evaluated by the 2010 Pageant Committee.  The usual requirements have been met in choosing the finalists, these are: must be 18 years old and above, at least 5’2” tall, single, must be a Gensan resident for at least 2 years and must possess qualities befitting a Miss Gensan finalist. Only 10 finalists were chosen.  Here’s the list of the official candidates for this year’s Miss Gensan Pageant:
