It’s that time of the year when we get to nominate
The Top Emerging & Influential Blogs for 2010

Ayokong magpaka-plastic, so here goes…
GandaEverSoMuch is going to be a year old on August 1
I’ve put in everything that I’ve got in this blog
Blood, sweat, tears at kung anik-anik pa
This blog not only liberated me, it totally tore my closet door down
And it actually opened a whole new world for me
Not that I hate it, on the contrary, I am so loving it
Dumadami na din ang Faithful Readers ng GESM
Marami nang nakiki-kokak sa akin
My number one nominee is

May dream talaga ako noon pa
Gusto kong maging director ng pelikula
Nung regaluhan ako ng tatay ko ng cassette recorder
Gumawa ako ng script na parang drama sa radyo
I played all the characters in the story
May sound effects pa nga eh
That dream didn’t see the light of day
Kaya nung nadiscover ko ang Project 52 Weeks
Salamat kay Micah Rodriguez, nabuhay uli ang dream ko
That is the reason why ito ang aking 2nd Nominee

Hindi actually ako mataba
Mahilig lang talaga akong kumain (char!)
Gustuhin ko mang magluto hindi talaga uubra
That’s why inggit na inggit ako sa  Kusina Maria
Hindi lang sa pagsusulat bongga si Ria Jose
Magaling din siyang magluto at kung love ka nya
Ipagluluto ka nya to your heart’s (and stomach’s) content
Kaya nga’t ito ang third nominee ko

Kung pwede nga lang ma-nominate taon-taon si Lyle Santos, gagawin ko
Siya ang dahilan kumbakit nabuo ang GandaEverSoMuch.com
Siya rin ang tumutulong sa blog technicalities chuva ko
Nung nawili ako sa pagpi-Plurk saka ko nadiscover
Ang Plurk Designs na punum-puno ng kagandang themes
He even made a especially designed theme for me
Hindi pwedeng hindi sya ang 4th nominee ko

Not that I’m really shifting gears now
Not that I need more beauty care and tips
Nagulat lang ako when I discovered this
Brendel Balaga actually runs a beauty blog called Get Prettified
She writes like she’s just talking to you
Ang nakakatuwa, she experiments the products on herself
Because of this, she deserves to be my 5th nominee

The first time I met atty. magman, akala ko lawyer sya
Edward Ragpala Jr. is not a lawyer and atty. magman is not his real name
It didn’t stop him to name his blog Magman’s Closet
Kayo na ang humusga kumbakit ganun ang tawag sa blog nya
Anyway, gusto ko ang istilo ng blog ni atty. magman
Kagaya ng GESM,  his style is no-holds-barred
Walang kiyeme, bira lang ng bira, boldyak lang ng boldyak
He’s parang my twin-sister kaso his wafuness gets in the way of sisterhood
Kainis talaga but just the same his blog is my 6th Nominee

There’s this blog site that I discovered recently
It’s by a 17-year guy whose angst and rantings got my attention
Paolo Maulanin has been very busy lately
He regularly updates Paolodome Edge and its FaceBook page
Nakaka-insecure ang posts nya kasi ang galeng talaga
I hope Paolo doesn’t lose his groove and just keep on blogging
Paolodome Edge is my 7th Nominee

Silent waters run deep, ‘ika nga
Fellow SoCCSKSarGen Blogger Alexis Chua fits this bill to a “T”
He’s Opera’s main man here and when he starts talking, bibilib ka talaga
Then I came across his Personal Blog and I became an instant fan
What’s with guys this age nowadays? Ang lalalim!  Ang eemo!
Alexis’ Blog raves about being separate from the normal points-of-view
Uber ka-nose bleed ever pero andami naming fans nya
Alexis Chua’s Personal Blog is my 8th Nominee

Unang kong nakilala si Aileen Apolo-de Jesus sa MBS3 sa CDO
Gustong-gusto ko ang blog nyang An Apple A Day
And nung nagpakasal sya nung December 26, 2009
Inumpisahan nya ang bagong blog nyang Mabuhay ang Bagong Kasal
Honestly naiiinggit talaga ako sa mga nagpapakasal
Wish ko lang na makakarampa din ako (in my wedding gown) in the future
Parang diary of sorts ang blog ni Aileen
Nakakatuwa ang mga learnings nila together
Di tuloy kami magkanda-ugaga sa mga advices for them
Feeling ko tuloy kasama ako sa married life nila
It is for this reason ito ang 9th Nominee ko

If I were to create another blog
Then it would be about food, food and more food
I’ve done a few blog reviews about restos and all
Pero hindi biro ang mag-blog about food
Kaya nga saludo ako sa Food Bloggers like Jonel Uy
Magkasama kami sa Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2010
Tahimik lang si Jonel pero ang tindi kung sumulat ng food-escapades nya
Gusto ko ang istilo ng reviews nya and it really helps
Gusto ko rin ang pictures na kuha nya kasi buhay na buhay
Kaya ang NomNomClub.com ang 10th Nominee ko
