Pablo’s Steakhouse invited us to check out their weekend buffet treat
I am a big fan of Pablo’s and her mother-resto, Ranchero’s Grill
So a “NO, THANKS!” wasn’t even in consideration
Members of the Mindanao New Media agreed to satisfy our palate
And off to Pablo’s Davao we went last July 10, 2010
Pablo’s Davao is a cozy retreat from a hard day’s work
Its comfortable ambience makes your dining experience memorable
Topped it with superb service and NOW reasonably-priced menu
Pablo’s Steakhouse is a must-visit in Davao City

Saturdays in Pablo’s is American Continental Buffet
For starters, I had Fresh Green Salad with Fruity Dressing
Their vegies and greens were crisp and crunchy
The sweetness and sourness of the dressing complimented this serving
Ranchero Grill’s bestseller Baby Back Ribs was a welcome treat
Pablo’s upped the ante by offering it as part of this eat-all-you-can buffet
The meat was at its juiciest, tenderest and tastiest best
You won’t even need the sauce that usually goes with it
The Sweetened Crabs was a sight to behold
The aligue (crab fat) was visible and oh-so tempting
The sauce was just right making it more delectable
When I tried their Shrimps Thermidor
I was surprised of how well blended the ingredients were
You can still taste the shrimps and enjoy the feast
The Spinach Bread with Cheese went well with the soup
Pablo’s bakes their own bread to perfection
The crunchy sides is balanced by the soft and tasty middle part
The spinach/cheese topping was heavenly
I’m not a fan of baked potatoes
But Pablo’s Baked Potato with Bacon Bits changed all that
It was the sweetest potato I’ve ever tasted
The bacon bits also helped give it a kick
This was my first time to taste Liver & Bacon Pasta
I expected liver after-taste but discovered none
I expected bacon-oiliness but tasted none
This pasta dish is definitely gonna be a best-seller
The assorted Fresh Tropical Fruits were a colorful delight
All of the fruits were sweet and succulent
The Dragon Fruit was tempting but I passed
For dessert their Mango Float and Buko Lychee were inviting
I have to watch my sugar-intake so I was careful not to binge on both
I’m glad they passed my sugar-level standards thus I enjoyed having them
Here’s the Buffet Offerings of Pablo’s
