The first miracle of the day: Mabuti na lang available ang van ng Ice Castle Experience!
Although we waited for close to an hour, oks lang! Thank you, Lord talaga!
Salamat din kay Mayor Jun Acharon for the other van na pinahiram nya
Pinauna na ni Kuya Avel ang dalawang grupo sa Dolores Farm Resort
Dun kasi ang breakfast namin before proceeding to Lake Sebu
Masarap ang crispy tilapia na sinerve nila with matching hot native tsokolate
Masasaya ang mga mukha ng mga bloggers
Hapi kami kasi bonggacious ang activities the previous night
Habang nagkakasiyahan lahat naka-fingers crossed naman ako
Hoping and praying na success ang Lake Sebu experience namin
Anyway, after breakfast naglibot muna kami sa mini-zoo ng Dolores Farm Resort
Kaloka ang monkey sa cage kasi nag-X rated show ba naman
Ngayon ko lang din narealized na ang wild boar, mukhang baboy pala
After kodak moments, lumarga na kami for Lake Sebu

Tinulugan ko lang ang byahe papuntang Lake Sebu
Nagising na lang ako na nandun na kami
Andaming sasakyan sa parking area and mega-pila ang gustong sumubok ng Zipline
May taga-ibang lugar pa – in fact, may taga-Baguio na pumipila
Ganito na pala talaga kasikat ang pinakamahabang zipline adventure sa Pilipinas
Sana ayusin lang ang daan papasok kasi uber kakitid talaga
And siempre medyo disorganize ang proseso nila for those who wanna try the zipline
Iniwan namin nina Francis Sablon and Carlo Ebeo ang Bloggers para ayusin ang lunch
Francis and Carlo helped us with Punta Isla Resort to be our host for lunch
Now that was the 2nd miracle of the day: I didn’t have to suffer the heat of the sun while standing in line
Tama yung disisyon kong tumulong sa pag-arrange ng lunch
Pumila kasi sila for over two hours tapos kinahapunan pa makakasubok
Dismayado nga ang mga itsura ng taga-CDO kasi gusto talaga nila masubukan ang zipline ride
Buti na lang may entertainers na T’Boli natives na sumasayaw for us
Ang phrase for the day: “DONATION PLEASE!”
Nalurkey talaga kaming lahat – ayun tuloy naging standard line namin yan
Kahit nadelay ang lunch namin – uber uber pa rin ang pasasalamat namin
Kasi baon namin ang masarap na cupcakes from Rollee’s Bakeshop
Our Tilapia Lunch Treat was just great – meron pang nilagpang na native na manok
Sinugba, crispy-fried, kinilaw at paksiw na tilapia forever and ever

After lunch, nag-separate ang grupo namin
The CDO Bloggers went back to the Zip Line Adventure
Kami naman proceeded sa Merl Mountain Resort
Na-excite ang mga kasama kong bubwit kasi meron ding zipline ride dito
Maikli lang ang distance and hindi kataasan pero okay na rin
Kaya go talaga sina Romarie, Peter and Mandi
Napasubo din ang first-timers ng zipline ride na sina Alexis, Rabsky, Xyril and Ariel
While kami naman, nagkanya-kanyang idlip sa cottage
Nagising na lang kami sa amoy ng bagong lutong pansit canton
This is the third miracle of the day: Meriendang unexpected para sa mga taong nabitin!
Ansarap talaga lalo na pag gutom ka! Hahahaha!
Habang pinapapak namin ang pansit, nagsisiliparan naman ang nag-zipline ride
Buti na lang hindi ako nainggit at wala akong balak talaga
Ang ganda sa Merl kasi mas relaxing ang atmosphere at hindi mukhang may piyesta
May swimming pool sa bandang gitna na nakakaenganyo
Very accommodating pa si Ma’am Merl sa amin
If you ask me, mas okay dito kapag pamilya ang dala mo
Hindi nakaka-stress ang pagpila ever

Our trip to Koronadal was like Karaoke Nights inside my Ford Everest
Full-stereo in full-volume ang sound system while playing choiced songs
Sina Romarie Cunanan and Mandi Nicolas ang disc jockeys
Mega-sing along ang ginawa namin with Charles Ortiz, Alexis Chua, Xyril Landicho and Rabsky Villanueva
Am sure deep inside nakiki-sing along din si Peter Pilot na Photographer Pa Driver Pa Gyud
Bago pa kami umuwi ng Gensan dumaan muna ang grupo sa Sa Balai Bistro
This bistro is owned by Carlo Ebeo – dating bahay ito na ginawang resto-bistro
Very relaxed ang atmosphere and talagang feel-at-home ka
Ang sarap ng pandan shake nila pero nawindang ako sa cold iced tea nila
Hindi ko sya ma-express in terms of taste kasi bago sya sa panlasa
But sa tutuo lang it helped me burped a few times
Iba talaga pag organic ever ang iniinom
And this was where the fourth miracle happened: Donna Mae Congson was on hyper-drive!
Kasi nga worried kami (lalo na si Emman) sa kanya coz kulang na lang himatayin sya sa Lake Sebu
Namumutla kaya sya and malamig ang pawis nya
Ric Dumalay had to do the driving chores para rested sya pababa
Ang siste, naka-recover na si Donna at super-daldal during the trip
It helped that she took that weird iced tea kasi fully revived ang beauty ni Donna
Thank you, dear Lord for this miracle!

At dahil pagod, kanda-hagok talaga kaming lahat pauwi na ng Gensan
Nagising na lang kami nung sumaglit kami sa Tupi to get the Opera ballpens
Tuloy-tuloy na ang byahe afterwards hanggang dumating kami sa dinner host namin
Susmaryosep — wala nang katapusang kainan ito!
Bonggacious ever ang handa ng Red Tent Steak House
Kaya nung finally dumating na sina Kuya Avel bitbit ang pasalubong from Kakanin Atbp kainan na agad
Sarap ng food nila and very accommodating talaga sina Dexter and Dina Dumaran
Salamat siempre kay Gilbert Tan for arranging this dinner
And as we were wrapping up after the picture-picture
Nag-final message na si Kuya Avel
And this for me is the BEST miracle of all: Kuya Avel, despite his recent health setback, got to finish it till the end
Kahit nginarag-ngarag nya ako okay lang
Ang importante mega-successful ang plinano nya
At huwag nyong iisiping ako ang brains behind the Summer Safari dahil si Kuya Avel yun
Beauty lang talaga ang contribution ko!

Ang dating magkatunggali sa mundo ng Plurk at Google Adsense
Ang taga-CDO na dating nanalo as Mister Amity-ville Horror Robstroy Bana
At ang Prinsipe ng Kadiliman este Kabataan pala na si Kevin Pacquet
Finally threw away their daggers-for-each-other
And finally did what every parent fears these days
Do the Jejemon-Heart pose!
Kidding-aside, thankful talaga kaming nakakaalam sa kwento nila
Dahil sa Summer Safari friendship ever na sina Robstroy and Kevin
Mabuhay ang mga jejemon!!!
And like any story, this one has come to an end…
Pero and kagandahan nito kasi mas dumami ang kaibigan kong taga-ibang lugar
Mas naka-bonding ko ang mga dati ko nang kaibigan
Nayakap ko uli sina Lyle Santos, Brendel Balaga, Ria Jose and ChiQ Montes
Mas naging love ko din sina Kuya Avel and Marz
And siempre pa nag-enjoy ako kahit naga-tumbling ang puso ko
Salamat sa Summer Safari na ito kasi may bago na akong crush

Super saya and super busog talaga ako. until now kahit 10 hours biyahe namin parang busog pa rin ako.
Pero in fairness breakfast lang ako nag rice. The rest zero rice talaga ako para maka survive sa kainan. Weeee!

A big heartfelt thanks to you Orman for making sure that everyone was entertained, attended to, adhered to the skeds, paid the contributions (sorry guys) and a hundred other mother hen chores during the 2-day safari. I couldnt have done it without him, and couldnt have gone through with it if not for him. The planning part was easy. It was the hosting of more than 17 bloggers from out of town which is the treacherous part, but he managed to do it with aplomb (hanapin mo sa dictionary yan sis). This Safari made me realize even more how blessed I am to be given a brother like him. That’s more than the money in the world combined!
