Pangatlo at huling araw na ng Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2010

Nagising akong masakit ang buong katawan ko

Effect ito ng extreme adventure ko kahapon

Kahit masakit napapa-smile pa rin ako pag naaalala ko ang zip line ride ko

All of a sudden, reality stares me at the face

Matatapos na pala ang DFAT… kaines!

Di ko na muna inisip at malulungkot lang ako

Sinundo na namin sina Kuya Avel and Marz

Humabol sila to join us sa Island Hopping Tour

Saka kami tumuloy sa TAPS for our breakfast

It was a reunion of sorts for Kuya Avel, Winston Almendras and Jess Lao

Nagkita-kita rin sila after some time kaya kodakan moments ever

We were not talking about it pero ramdam mo na last day na ng DFAT ito

We were more at ease with each other

First-name basis na rin kami now

Nagdedmahan na lang kami ulit when it was time to eat…hehehehe!

Etong nakakatuwa – biglang nag-jejemon mode ang lahat

Tingnan nyo naman ang mga posing na yan

Excited na kami for our island hopping tour

Although more than an hour na kaming late sa schedule

Parang wala lang at nakangiti pa rin kami

When we arrived sa pier super ganda ng panahon

Although cloudy konti alam mo na hindi uulan

We were welcomed by our tour guide Jojo

Jojo was TOPS as a tour guide

Andami ko tuloy nalaman about Samal Island

According to him, the term Island Garden of Samal does not refer to flowers on the island

It actually refers to the coral reef garden around the island and under the sea

Oh di ba, trivia yan?  Bonggacious!

So we toured the Island of Samal

Kahit medyo matagal ang byahe, mawiwili ka sa ganda ng view

And siempre pa sa walang katapusang kainan

Merong mini-ensaymada and siopao from Mam Bebs

Meron ding padalang mini-siopao ang Dimsum Diner

Uber-uber talaga sa lamon ang ginawa namin

First stop was the Maxima Adventure Resort

Nagbabaan ang mga mahilig mag-beach

And they all tried the Slide – susme, I had enough extreme adventures already

Super enjoy ang mga lahi ni Agua at Dyesebel

Para silang mauubusan ng dagat

Ako namang maniniyot ever – kodak kodak para di ma-stroke!

I took my time to take pictures from the boat

Thanks to my Lumix LX3 ang gaganda ng shots ko

Kaming mga ayaw umitim at ayaw mag-swim

Nagpagandahan na lang ng posing ever so much

We had lunch na din sa boat – nagbaon kaya kami

Sarap ng pagkain thanks to Avatar Media (again!)

When it was time to head home

Tahimik kaming lahat – nagmumuni-muni

Eventually naka-idlip na rin ang karamihan

I couldn’t help but feel lonely kasi patapos na ang D.F.A.T. 2010

Sana wala nang wakas

Pero sabi nga:  Some good things never last

I had a great time talaga

Am back to reality now

But I will forever treasure my D.F.A.T. 2010 experience
