Asia’s first Airline celebrates seventy (70) outstanding years of its existence.  Philippine Airlines flew its first airplane in 1940 and has never looked backed ever since.  Surviving the initial years was as crucial as surviving the years that followed highlighted by its sale to Taipan Lucio Tan.  It has remained the country’s flag carrier and a symbol of the Philippines’ being part of the Global Community.  As they celebrate their 70th anniversary, PAL has got a lot under their sleeves.  Check these out…
