After the onslaught of Typhoon Ondoy
And seeing how devastated Luzon had been
I couldn’t help but thank the Lord
For keeping Gensan safe and sound
Indeed we’ve got a lot to be thankful for
For God has blessed us to the core
Let’s therefore protect what He has poured
And love our Gensan more and more

Despite what a few people are saying, this park is one of GenSan Mayor Acharon’s greatest legacy to the city. Good thing he continued with this project. Now we can really say “MAGANDANG GENSAN” to each other without squinting.
The best time to visit the park is early in the morning with the other hikers and joggers.
When are we joining them?
