It was a good one and half hour wait for the rest of the bloggers to arrive. I was with Gilbert and Kuya Avel at the Fast Food Area of Robinson’s Place at exactly 2pm. The Mall was brimming with people so there was no time for boredom. In the multitude of shoppers, usiseros and the like, there was not one familiar face ever. I immediately concluded that these folks are from out-of-town. Every table was taken but we were able to put together four tables as they became vacant. Jinky and Gay finally arrived followed by couple-power Ric and Sheng.

This was first eyeball event as a blogger and it was good to put faces to the owners of URLs that I’ve been visiting. It was also a good venue to gain new friends. Blogging has indeed cut across the age barrier. It didn’t even matter what your status in society is. At that moment, I was just one of the guys. Anyway, the other bloggers started arriving. Sheng and Kuya Avel started collating the items for the raffle draw. The major prize was a free domain name courtesy of Gumer Liston. There were 44 prizes to be given away!

Two bloggers from Marbel (Dax and Princess) and a husband & wife from Polomolok joined the GEB. KZ who was busy overseeing her stall (selling abubots) joined us too. We were having small talk here and there when Kuya Avel distributed supplementary issues of the Philippine Star. It was all about the grand opening of Robinson’s Place in Gensan. We had a fun time posing for posterity. By then couples Gumer & Isah Liston and Job & Liezl Oberio joined the group.

Hector finally arrived and the real kodakan moments started. I only realized that I was clicking away like there was no tomorrow ergo I was almost absent in all the shots! The Assistant Mall Manager finally arrived and we proceeded to Movie World cinema area where she answered all our FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). After which, the raffling of the giveaways followed! I got a Tom Clancy book and a snack coupon courtesy of Chito’s Takuyaki. Here are some of the pictures which I took.

We winded down munching on our merienda at Ice Crops owned by Rey Billena and Senor Takuyaki’ Tortillas. It was a good way to spend your Saturday. Looking forward to more eyeball parties.

This is sooo fund, i wish i can join you in CDO as i have been really excited only to find that my schedules does not coincide with MBS3, oh well. I hope to find more time in blogging as it really makes me feel connected with you guys and it makes me less depressed… Good will blogging, more power!

@sheng — i totally agree with you… blogging is a great way to get your mind off other things. kagabi bigla na lang nawala ako sa mood… as in parang appliance na nilagay sa sleep mode. i almost did not finish this post. pinilit kong sinimulan until i got my groove back… whew buti na lang natapos ko… i felt better afterwards!
