Nor are the police allowed to search the vehicle. So kapag sinabing baba ka dapat may nakita na sila from outside your vehicle pa lang. Otherwise hangang silip lang sila while the lights are on. If they insist on putting their head inside your vehicle or to search any part of your vehicle (even request for opening the trunk) they will violate your constitutional rights. This applies only though sa checkpoint sa highway.Sa malls since its private property is another matter. :) Sa jurisprudence natin kapag checkpoint search di dapat pinapababa.
