FIRST MONTHSARY. A month ago today, I started blogging.  The rest they say is history.  Yesterday marked the highest number of visits to Ganda Ever So Much! – 279 visits!  Google Adsense reported Total Earnings for the month:  $0.73.  Remembering Thumby Cadorna is the most popular Blog post at 92 visits.  389 comments have so far been recorded.  I have not been this active in writing and I am hoping that I can sustain the momentum.  Thank you, loyal readers for keeping me company.

CLEAN RESTROOMS. Sloppy restrooms are my biggest pet peeve.  When I was in college, I always made sure that the boarding houses that I lived in have clean toilets.  They don’t have to be spanking clean.  But this doesn’t mean that they can be dirty too. If urine stains are a bummer what would you call unflushed water closets?  Lighting is a must.  You don’t wanna sit on something you can’t see, would you?  Toilets should smell hygienically clean too.  And water should also be available at all times.  Is it just me?  Maarte lang ba talaga ako?  I’m sure most of you will agree with me.

MY BEST RESTROOMS. This is going to be quick.  I just would like to commend the best restrooms in Gensan!  Top of my list is Fagioli’s in Lagao!  Sobrang sosyal and yet very homey.  It’s like getting inside another world in another time.  Ambango pa. Then there’s Grab-A-Crab.  It’s clean but they have to improve on the smell.  It’s not the funky smell naman but for me, it really should smell clean.  I like the lighting of their restroom — subdued yet inviting.   The third top spot goes to Orange Bistro.  The individual restrooms may be small but Brian Teng was able to create an ambience of privacy and class.  My only problem is the funky smell of piss.  Blame it on the janitor.  Runner-up honors goes to Genee.  Despite being located at the Oval Plaza, they were able to maintain its cleanliness.  And they have liquid soap and soap bars available!  I only have a problem with the location of their male urinal.  Oh well, nobody’s perfect.

GTX OFFICIALLY OPENS. Yesterday, Gensan’s Tuna Festival eXperience officially opened at the Oval Plaza Stage.  Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile was the guest of honor.  It was heartwarming to see the colorful Mardi Gras contingents dance to the beat of the new Festival Theme Music.  And when they all greeted back MAGANDANG GENSAN, I was close to tears.  Nakakapanindig-balahibo talaga.  The fireworks display aptly dubbed as SPLASH IN THE SKY was simply amazing.  It was quick but I enjoyed every bit of it.  The Oval Plaza was brimming with people last night as the beat of the Disco music filled the air.  Thank you, fellow Generals for your support.

PICKING UP THE PIECES. I am moving forward.  I am going to make it.  There’s a lot of other things to do.  I am going to rest my heart.  I deserve my alone time this time around.  In the meantime, let my birthday countdown begin.
