Lighted Floats Brighten Gensan’s Tuna Festival eXperience

2nd Place winner RD Group of Companies
Five beautifully designed floats enlivened the streets of Gensan and wowed everyone when their lights were lit. Each float depicted versions of the festival theme EXPLORING LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES. The lighting effects were an all-new experience for the onlookers. TSP Marine Industries, Inc. won the grand prize of this year’s Float Parade of Lights. They were richer by P150,000.00. RD Group of Companies, Norkis-Yamaha, San Andres Fishing Industries Inc. and SOCOTECO II were awarded 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th best respectively.

hi dear,
after the float parade my former collegues from socoteco2 texted me.. inquiring as to the contest rules.kasi daw during the briefing they were informed to go with the theme exploring limitless possibilites.the tuna float concept was discouraged to give way to more possibilities nga.kya kakaiba yun concept ng float nila..then only to find out that some participants didnt go with what was discussed. i think we have to review this..they are not sourgraping actually.. they just wanted to know how the judges were able to come up with the winners when infact iba ang napag usapan(daw) during the meetings. please check on this.im just re-echoing the message that was sent to me last sept. 5 by kuya jerry (“Kag. murag wala man gi sunod ang criteria sa mga judges,sorry kung naga sour graping kami”)… thanks dear. and please give them updates… god bless…

@meg santos — te meg i also have my own choices kaso di din ako judge. ang importante napasaya ng mga sumali (kasama na ang socoteco) ang napakaraming taong nanood.
